A tribute to Robert Tatin

Robert Tatin est mort le 16 décembre 1983 à Cossé-le-Vivien (Mayenne). Au lieu-dit « La Frênouse » qui avait été choisi par l'artiste pour son histoire, mais aussi pour son orientation Est-Ouest, dans le jardin devant sa maison, il repose sous une pierre tombale, conformément à ses vœux. Le Musée Robert Tatin s'articule aujourd'hui autour cette très ancienne maison, que l'artiste a restauré pendant les 21 dernières années de sa vie, point de départ de son oeuvre. En son hommage, une anémone des bois.
