Eugene Boudin

Time is a little gray. On this beach, there is hardly a boat, horses that carry the stone or clay, nothings.

Eugene Boudin is born in Honfleur in 1824. The son of a sailor, he works in a framing shop and stationery in the Havre, where he is in contact with artists in the neighborhood, he gradually discovers his vocation as a painter. He marvels at the deutsh and Flemish paintings of the 17th century during a trip he takes in 1948 in Belgium and Holland.Eugene Boudin moves to Paris the following year . . .
