In-folio (38,5 x 29,8 cm), publisher's black leather binding, title on the spine, front and back illustrated with a composition after Prassinos, publisher's box. First edition with 20 texts by various authors (by Claude Aveline, Yves Berger, Luc Decaunes, François Nourissier, Marguerite Duras, René de Obaldia, Marcel Bealu, Jacques Brosse, Robert Marteau, Armand Lanoux, Louise de Vilmorin, Claude Roy, Robert Ganzo, Lucien Becker, Pierre Albert-Birot, Jean Blanzat, Michel Butor, Guilherme Figueiredo, Alain Bosquet et Pierre Mac Orlan), illustrated with 20 original lithographs in colours (by Maurice Sarthou, Jules Cavaillès, Léonor Fini, Leonardo Cremonini, Edouard Pignon, Jean Commère, Ossip Zadkine, Lucien Coutaud, André Masson, Félix Labisse, Yves Brayer, Pierre-Yves Trémois, André Minaux, André Planson, Edouard Mac Avoy, Marcel Mouly, Georges Rohner, Paul Guiramand, Michel Rodde et Blasco Mentor). The texts and the lithographs are all hand-signed by their authors and artists. Here a copy of the Deluxe edition with an extra suite of the 20 lithographs, all signed in pencil by the artists, housed in a publisher's separate folder. Typography by Pierre Jean Mathon, lithographs printed in the workshops Mourlot, Desjobert, Lucien Détruit, Maurice Pons et René Guillard, binding and box by Ebrard after a project by Prassinos. Edition : in total 190 copies of which 20 copies on Japanese paper (numbered from 1 to 20) with an extra suite on Rives paper and a gouache + 30 copies on Auvergne (numbered from 21 to 50) with an extra suite on Rives + 140 copies on Rives (numbered from 51 to 190) ; here n° 42 from the Deluxe edition on Auvergne with a suite on Rives. Condition : wears on the box, otherwise in very good condition.
