Forword by Pierre Brisson, texts by André Warnod, 20 prints (lithographs, etchings and woodcuts) by : Derain, Dufy, Matisse, Van Dongen, Vlaminck, Rouault, Braque, Picasso, Villon, Zadkine, Chagall, Dunoyer de Segonzac, Pascin, Utrillo, Cavaillès, Terechkovitch, Buffet, Carzou and Miro. Here an exceptionnal copy of the three deluxe copies, which contains a suite of the prints printed on Arches wove paper, two prints (Picasso and Buffet) printed on silk, the two copper plates of the etching by Zadkine, and the colours decomposition (in 33 sheets) of the lithograph after Picasso. The text has been printed by Imprimerie Daragnès. The lithographs of Derain and Van Dongen have been printed by Lucien Détruit, the prints of Dufy, Matisse, Chagall, Dunoyer de Segonzac, Cavaillès, Terechkovitch and Carzou by Mourlot, the prints of Picasso and Buffet by J.P. Ballon, the print of Miro by Arte ; the etchings of Villon and Zadkine have been printed by Manuel Robbe, the etching of Braque by Crommelynck, the woodcuts of Vlaminck, Rouault, Pascin and Utrillo have been engraved and printed by Raymond Jacquet. Edition : in total 250 copies in which 3 Deluxe copies with inked copper plates, two lithographs printed on silk (Picasso and Buffet), a complete suite of the prints, the colour decomposition (in 33 sheets) of the lithograph by Picasso, numbered from 1 to 3, 16 copies with two lithographs printed on silk (Picasso and Buffet), a complete suite of the prints, the colour decomposition (in 33 sheets) of the lithograph by Picasso, numbered from 4 to 19, 21 copies with two lithographs printed on silk, a complete suite of the prints numbered from 20 to 40, 40 copies a complete suite of the prints numbered from 41 to 80 and 170 copies, all printed on Arches wove paper. Here the exceptionnal copy n° 2 of the three first Deluxe copy. Reference : Monod n° 11485. Condition : little wears on the cloth-covered box, few soilings on the wrappers and the folder of a suite, otherwise in very good condition.
