Terry Haass

The fundamental problem is the relationship between space, matter and light.

Tereza (Terry) Haass is born in Cesky Tesin (Czechoslovakia) in 1923. She flees her country and Nazism in the late 30s. She studies art and art history in Paris until her departure for New York in 1941; the young woman receives a scholarship from the Art Students League.
