Biography : Sandro Chia is born in Florence (Italy) in 1946. He follows studies to the Art Institute of Florence, then to the Beaux-Arts Academy in this same city, and gets his diploma in 1969. After a very long trip (the Indies, Turkey, Europe), he settles in Rome in 1970. His first personal exhibition is organized in Rome (Gallery Salita, 1971). Chia belongs to . . . .
