Biography : Manuel Cargaleiro, Portuguese painter, is born in 1927 in Portogallo (Portugal). Very early, he creates ceramic and painting. Cargaleiro learns as an autodidact. He carries out earthenware squares, Azulejo, of which he becomes the Master; today this art has still its importance in Portugal, and had been brought by the Arabs in the . . . .
