Biography :Josef Albers was born in Germany in 1888 (Bottrop, Westphalia). He was a teacher from 1908 to 1913. Then he followed art studies. He went to the Beaux Arts royal Academy of Berlin, the Kunstgewerbeschule in Essen, the Beaux arts Academy of Berlin, then, from 1920 to 1923, the Bauhaus of Weirmar.
