Biography :Jean Messagier is born in the summer of 1920 in Paris. He spends his childhood between Paris and the Franche-Comte, where his family originates. He creates his first watercolors and drawings (1940) in the countryside of Franche-Comte, which becomes for him, subsequently, the ideal embodiment of his art.
