James Rosenquist was born in 1933 in Grand Forks (Dakota, United States). He studied at the Minneapolis School of Art, then at the University of Minnesota (1948-1952). He settles down in New York in 1955, gets an education to the Art Student League, and finally decides to work for the advertisement. In 1960, James Rosenquist undertakes in the Pop Art adventure.
