Biographie : Graham Vivian Sutherland est né durant l’été 1903 à Londres. Après ses études dans cette même ville, il est ingénieur pour une compagnie ferroviaire anglaise (Midland Railway) à Derby. Il étudie la gravure (1921-1926) au Goldsmiths College et se marie en 1927. De 1928 à 1932 Graham Sutherland enseigne la gravure à l'eau-forte et l'illustration de . . . .
