Biography :Born in 1951 in Asheville, North Carolina, in the United States, Donald Sultan studies art at the University of North Carolina, then at The Art Institute of Chicago. He moves to New York in 1975, where he works for a while renovating apartments among other things, then finally ‘allows himself’ to paint.
