Biography :Andrei Mikhailovitch Lanskoy was born in Moscow in 1902. He enlists in the Tzarist Army in 1919 and fights on the Crimean front. In 1921 he flees, to Paris. There, André Lanskoy meets other Russian artists and starts to paint after he enrolls at the Academy of the Grande-Chaumière. He discovers the work of Van Gogh, . . . .(see notes of biography)
